“After many discussions during the group exercises, I came to the conclusion that it is impossible to define transparency in just a few words! For myself, I identified three core meanings of transparency: honesty, openness, and ethics.”
— Sanavbar Raupova, Director of the CSO “Neyrubakhsh,” Dushanbe.
“Training civil society organizations in this area and guiding them toward ensuring transparency is a timely and important measure. As a participant, I welcome this opportunity with great satisfaction. The experience shared by CSOs and the trainers’ approaches will have a significant impact on my future professional activities. I will apply the knowledge gained in the work of our organization.”
— Ehson Karimov, Director of the CSO “Zamon,” Isfara.
“I have over 22 years of experience working in civil society organizations. Until now, I lacked proper knowledge on transparency and reporting in my professional practice. This was my first training on the topic. The training helped me, above all, to realize the responsibility I carry as a leader.”
— Qalamnisso Abduqayumova, Director of the CSO “Zarshedabonu,” Kulob.
“Transparency and accountability in the work of CSOs are among the most pressing topics and are very important in our daily work. I particularly liked the training methodology. The trainers effectively applied their facilitation skills, and the participants were highly active — this gave me extra motivation.”
— Dilshod Nazaraliev, CSO “Ghamkhori,” Bokhtar.
