Breaking Stereotypes: Training on Engaging Youth in Promoting Gender Equality

From December 16 to 19, a four-day training was held for representatives of youth organizations as part of a project implemented by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) with financial support from the Government of the United Kingdom. The purpose of the event was to teach modern methods of working with youth to address issues related to gender and social norms.

During the training, participants learned new approaches to engaging with youth audiences, acquired skills to effectively address negative gender stereotypes, and developed critical thinking regarding traditional social expectations. The program included both theoretical and practical sessions, as well as experience sharing with experts and peers, allowing participants to expand their knowledge and improve professional competencies.
