Training on engaging youth in promoting gender equality

From December 16 to 19, a four-day training for representatives of youth organizations was held within the framework of the project implemented by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) with the financial support of the UK government. The aim of the event was to teach modern methods of working with youth to address issues related to gender and social norms.

During the training, participants learned new approaches to interacting with youth audiences, learned how to work effectively with the problem of negative gender stereotypes and develop a critical attitude to traditional social expectations. The program included theoretical and practical sessions, as well as exchange of experience with experts and colleagues, which allowed participants to expand their knowledge and improve their professional skills.

At the end of the training, participants received certificates of successful completion. In addition, the best of them had the opportunity to become trainers and conduct similar courses for other groups, continuing to work in this important and in-demand field.

The organizers express their gratitude to all participants and experts for their active participation and high interest in addressing social and gender issues. The training was an important step in promoting equality and fighting negative stereotypes among young people.
