On June 24–25 and July 4–5, 2025, training seminars on preventing violence against women and girls were held in the Vose and Yovon districts.
The events brought together 40 participants, including government representatives, initiative groups, youth activists, and religious leaders. Discussions focused on gender equality, prevention of gender-based and domestic violence, and effective protection and advocacy mechanisms.
The seminars provided a platform for experience sharing and collaborative solutions to create a safe and fair environment for all.
Organizers: the seminars were conducted by the public organization “Women Lawyers for Development” under the project “Analysis of Rule of Law and Human Rights for Empowerment in Tajikistan, Phase III,” funded by UNDP.
We believe that awareness, solidarity, and active community participation are key to eliminating all forms of violence.
